Friday already? Where is the week going? Better yet, we’re now in JUNE! This year has been flying by!
I don’t know about you, but I’m REALLY glad the weekend is right ahead. I need to get some serious play time in after a pretty hectic work week. It’s a rare weekend where I have no set plans. After enjoying staying in pretty much last weekend, I think I’ll be doing more of the same this weekend.
Yikes – I crashed my own server
I published my post about how not to do social media late yesterday and within an hour, I ended up crashing my own server with it going viral. This is the third time this has happened in the past couple of weeks. I use Rackspace for dedicated servers but I think it’s getting time to move out some of what I’m doing to the cloud to avoid problems like this moving forward.
It’s amazing what a single blog post can do. I had over a half dozen requests to write guest posts for business & social media blogs, I had a few requests to republish the post on other sites, I had several requests for consulting come in and I made a lot of really awesome contacts too.
