One of the top concerns I hear from entrepreneurs is uncertainty about when it’s time to take the leap and quit their day job. I wrote a post that covers the major issues you’ll want to consider. Read it and share if it might be pertinent to some of your friends.
Capitalizing on Pinterest
I’ll be frank – I’m not on Pinterest myself. A personal issue with the company turned me off of them. That said, I’m a business person and marketer and it’s really hard to ignore Pinterest and the rapid growth they have seen.
We know it’s getting tons of traffic, the percentage engagement level is huge and it’s a marketer’s dream. But there’s one issue: Pinterest is very quick to slam the door on those who use it for business/marketing purposes.
I came across something yesterday that is quite brilliant: it’s a theme for WordPress that sucks images used in blog posts to create a Pinterest-like main page. It offers the ability to visitors to interact with the content just like they do on Pinterest itself. You can get the traffic from Pinterest and Facebook without actually being on Pinterest. Pretty cool!
The theme is quite affordable – at the time of writing this, it is around $10 (the price goes up as more people buy it). Check it out here.
